Ballia incident, 40 people were going in a boat to attend Mundan Sanskar
A major accident is coming to the fore from Ballia in Uttar Pradesh. A boat carrying 40 people has capsized in the river Ganges. More than two dozen people are reported missing in this accident. Rescue operation is going on.
According to the information received, the incident is of Maldepur Ganga Ghat in Ballia district. The family members were on their way to attend the Mundan ceremony. All the people of the family were going in the boat when suddenly the boat overturned. Hearing the screams of the people, the local reached for help. Half a dozen people were taken to the hospital. While two people died.
20 to 25 people are still being reported missing. They were being searched. The local administration has also reached the spot
