Youths were lathicharged in Dehradun on Thursday in protest against recruitment exam leak
Dehradun. The unemployed union has called for Uttarakhand bandh on Friday in protest against the police lathicharge on the youth. The district administration has imposed prohibitory orders Section 144 in Doon city. The effect will be visible after the shops open or remain closed in the markets after 11 am.
Unemployed youth started Satyagraha outside Gandhi Park on Wednesday to get their demands accepted. Police picked them up late in the night. Due to this, angry youth started gathering in Gandhi Park on Thursday morning. During this there was a clash between the police and the protesters. Police had to lathicharge. The youth also pelted stones at the police.
