Chaturvedi bought paper for Rs 28 lakh, sold it to 25 candidates

AE and JE’s paper leak case, BJP leader and other accused extorted brokerage money from the candidates

. Papers of AE and JE exam conducted by Public Service Commission were sold to 25 candidates. The ex-section officer of the Public Service Commission, who leaked the jailed Patwari paper, had bought the paper from another section officer for Rs 28 lakh. This information has been received in the preliminary inquiry of SIT.
Suspended section officer Sanjeev Chaturvedi is also the master mind of question paper leak scandal. It was he who leaked the question paper in connivance with his colleague, the section officer. BJP leaders Sanjay Dhariwal, Nitin Chauhan and Sunil Saini had sold papers to the candidates by posing as agents. Suspended Section Officer Sanjeev Chaturvedi had conspired to leak the AE-JE question paper in the year 2017 itself, he himself persuaded his colleague Section Officer Sanjeev Kumar to leak the paper. In lieu of leaking the paper, he had paid an amount of 28 lakhs to Sanjeev Kumar. This shocking revelation has come to light in the investigation of SIT. The question paper set of AE-JE exam was in the possession of Sanjeev Kumar, he had made it available to Sanjeev Chaturvedi by taking photographs of that question paper from his mobile phone. In lieu of leaking the question paper, he was paid an amount of 28 lakhs
