Compulsory dustbin and VLTD in passenger vehicle

Drivers coming from outside states should take care of the new rule

There is big news for drivers from outside states who are coming to Uttarakhand for weekend outing or religious pilgrimage. While coming to Uttarakhand, keep a dustbin on your vehicle. Also install vehicle location tracking device in the vehicle. Failure to do so may result in challan and fine of the vehicle.

This decision has been taken in the meeting of the Divisional Transport Authority (RTA). RTO Sharma said that new passenger vehicles will not be registered until they are fitted with portable dustbin and VLTD. Fitness renewal of old vehicles will also not be done without them
