Delhi: Mock drill will be done in all the COVID hospitals of the country today, health ministers of the states will be involved

Delhi: Mock drill will be done today in govt. hospitals. Seeing the possible danger of Corona, the Central and State Governments have also become alert. The Government of India is on alert mode in view of the ever-worsening situation due to Corona in China.

Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya is continuously holding meetings to take stock of the situation and preparedness of Corona. On Monday also, he discussed in a meeting with about 100 public health experts and doctors from across the country to deal with the dangers of Corona, after which Health Minister Mandaviya tweeted on Monday that “tomorrow, mock drill will be held in Kovid-related hospitals in the country.” Health ministers of all the states will also participate in it at their own level. Through this mock drill, the preparations made to deal with Corona in hospitals across the country will be reviewed. According to media reports, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya may also visit the hospitals on Tuesday. Along with this, in view of the increasing cases of corona worldwide, random testing of corona has started at various airports of the country, about which Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya himself has given information by tweeting.

Through mock drill, the number of health facilities in all the districts, capacity of isolation beds, oxygen, ICU, ventilators and other facilities will be reviewed. Along with this, the availability of other essential things like essential medicines, PPE kits, N-95 masks will also be seen. Apart from this, the preparedness to deal with the emergency situation of Corona will also be reviewed through this mock drill. According to media reports, this mock drill will be done in consultation with the concerned district collectors, health department officials, after which the state governments will share the information about this mock drill with the central government.
