DJ and fast food banned in marriage and party, bride will be sent off in 4 utensils as dowry

Several collective resolutions were passed in the interest of society in the Panchayat held at Maukabag That Ganiyat Mela Sthal of villagers of 24 villages of Khat Bamtaar, the biggest village of Jaunsar Bawar area. In which it was unanimously decided that DJ and fast food will not be used in public programs like marriage, party etc. in the area. Mehndi in marriage ceremony will be limited to one’s family. Apart from this, there will be a complete ban on intoxicants in the limits of Khat Bamtaar. Making Shilgur temple grand was also discussed in the Panchayat.

In the Panchayat chaired by Sadar Syana Matbar Singh Tomar of Khat Bamtaar, the speakers said that in the Bissu Mela to be held on 16th April at Maukabag That Ganiyat Mela Sthal, villagers of 24 villages of Khat will reach Bissu Sthal with Dhol-Damaun. Said that this time the Ganiyaat fair would be celebrated with great pomp in Maukabag That. Samaj Sudhar Samiti Khat Bamtad decided unanimously that the inclusion of Raini in the boy’s marriage procession would be considered.
In the first marriage of a boy a goat and flour and rice would be given by the Moukhi i.e. the maternal uncle’s side, rest of the things would be completely banned. Five utensils would be given in dowry in the marriage of a girl. Invitation in the first marriage would be given from Rs.51 to Rs.101. In the first marriage parties would take place in Raini Gymai tent. In the first marriage there would be a complete ban on sweets, fruits and dry fruits for Raini.
