Changed weather, Orange alert continues on Sunday-Monday
Haldwani. After reaching Gujarat, the effect of Biparjoy can be seen in the states of North India. In Uttarakhand, there has been light rain in many districts with the change of weather. This has brought relief from the heat.
Heavy rain, lightning, hailstorm and strong winds with a speed of 80 kilometers per hour can occur for two days on Sunday and Monday in the plains of Uttarakhand. There is hope of respite from the scorching heat after the weather changes. The Meteorological Center has issued an orange alert for the entire state including Dehradun.
Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Center, said that on Sunday, rain, lightning, hailstorm and strong winds with a speed of 80 kilometers per hour can occur in most areas of the state on Sunday. In view of the changing mood of the weather, Orange Alert has been issued on Sunday-Monday and Yellow Alert for three days thereafter. This change in weather can also be seen in Uttarakhand as an indirect effect of cyclonic storm Biparjay. The cyclonic storm has moved ahead after hitting the coastal areas of Gujarat
