Elephant killed the young man, broke the shop-car

. An intoxicated elephant crushed a young man to death on the Neelkanth road. The elephant also damaged a shop and a car.
According to the police, the incident took place in the morning of Laxman Jhula police station area. Local people reported the killing of a young elephant near Patna Waterfall. People also saw an elephant roaming around. Station in-charge Vinod Singh Gusain said that on information the police team reached the spot. Told that the young man was around 35 years old.
He had a serious head injury. Told that no identity document was found from the youth. The police took the dead body into custody and sent it to the mortuary of AIIMS. The incident area is of Rajaji Tiger Reserve Park. The forest department has been informed about the incident. Traffic has been stopped on the Neelkanth motorway due to the possibility of an elephant attack. Efforts are being made to identify the youth.
