Haridwar. Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat said that Savarkar was the first to talk about two nations within the country. Mohammad Ali Jinnah took the word Pakistan from Savarkar.
While talking to the media after the membership induction program by Congress in Haridwar, the former CM gave a statement regarding the two nation principle. Targeting BJP and RSS over the partition of the country, Harish Rawat said that Savarkar was the first to talk about a separate country for Muslims. He described Savarkar as the idol of BJP. Harish said, Mohammad Ali Jinnah had taken the word Pakistan from Savarkar. In this way Mohammad Ali Jinnah was the mental son of Savarkar regarding the partition of India. Attacking the Central Government, he said that the country got nothing except artificial figures. The forces that spread hatred have always lost. This is the land of Sanatan Dharma, Gandhi, Ambedkar and Nehru. In which there is no place for hatred. Congressmen are people who follow the principle of Sarvadharma Sambhav, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. Who walks together by connecting everyone. The party will contest the Lok Sabha elections with full strength.
