Former Minister Prem Prakash passes away

Heart attack at Shakti Farm residence in Sitarganj

Haldwani. Former minister Prem Prakash Singh, a resident of Pana village in Deoria and a multiple-time MLA from Barhaj seat, died of a heart attack. He was 70 years old. As soon as the news of the death came in the district, there was a wave of mourning among the supporters. Grassroots leader Thakur Prem Prakash Singh first joined the Rajnath Singh government by winning the election from BSP. After that he became an MLA from the Socialist Party.
Not only in Uttar Pradesh, he also tried his luck in the political corridors of Uttarakhand but did not succeed. His wife Manjulata Singh has been the head of Sitarganj block. He played a major role in the construction of the Turtipar bridge. He also inaugurated it from the then Chief Minister Rajnath Singh. He is survived by his wife and three sons Shiv Vardhan, Jai Vardhan and Harshvardhan.
Prem Prakash Singh suffered a heart attack at his residence at Shakti Farm in Sitarganj, Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Leader of Opposition Bhuvan Kapri, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and several other leaders condoled his death.
