Girl student dies in Pithoragarh, 111 people fall ill in village, stir

Health department set up camp in Jamradi village, fear of typhoid and jaundice

Pithoragarh. There has been a stir in Jamradi village of the district when 111 people fell ill. Those suffering from fever complain of vomiting and abdominal pain. Schoolgirl Parvati has died due to illness in the past. Now his sister has also become ill.
A school girl of the village had died 3 days ago. The health department organized a camp on the demand of the villagers regarding the apprehension of typhoid and jaundice. 111 people have been found sick in the camp. In which 57 are children. On the demand of village head Kavita Mehar and Lalit Mehar, the health department team reached the village.
The health department team medically examined 57 school children of junior high school and primary school. All these children were found ill. Doctor DrPrateek Pandey told that the sick people have complaints of fever, vomiting, abdominal pain, headache and other problems.
Village head Kavita Mahar says that most of the people in the village are suffering from the same disease. A schoolgirl Parvati has also died. Parvati’s younger sister is unwell
