Dehradun. Forest workers will now get two cubic meters of wood free of cost once during their service period to build their houses. Employees will be able to take free walks with family in all the parks of the state.
PCCF Vinod Singhal gave this order on Thursday.
The employees of the Forest Department were agitating for these demands for many years. Two Forest Ministers and several PCCFs had assured action on these demands. But till now these demands were not fulfilled.
