Herbertpur market remained closed today in protest against molestation of two real sisters

The market of Herbertpur also remained closed on Friday due to the incident of molestation of two real sisters returning from the market under Kotwali on Wednesday night. In Herbertpur, the Vyapar Mandal supported the call of Hindu organizations and kept the entire market closed.
Vikasnagar market was closed on Sunday. Hindu organizations demand that the accused of molestation should be arrested immediately. Earlier, hundreds of workers of Hindu organizations came out on the streets on Thursday, agitated by the incidents of molestation of both the Hindu girls. Angry activists closed the entire market of the city on Wednesday in protest against the incident of molestation of two girls by a youth of a special class. Only medical stores, nursing homes remained open.
Angry workers gheraoed the municipal president and executive officer and demanded that not a single cart should be put in the market. Action should be taken against the carts which are not registered. Intensive verification of street vendors should be done.
Hindu organizations alleged that many cart operators were selling drugs. Many coming from outside are running carts etc here, whose verification has not even been done. Hindu organizations accused the Municipal President and EO of not discharging their duty properly. Hindu organizations raised slogans.
The main market of the city was completely closed. Due to which the passengers coming from outside had to face difficulties. The market remained closed for the whole day. Hindu organizations said that two days ago, two youths of a particular class lashed out at women coming to visit the Hanuman temple in Goodrich, on Wednesday night two girls were chased and abused in the area. A few days ago, two youths of Dhakrani hurled abuses at the teenager. Police and administration should completely stop the incidents of eve-teasing by the youth of a particular class.
In view of the anger of Hindu organizations and deteriorating law and order in the city, Additional District Magistrate Ramjisharan came from Dehradun and took stock of the arrangements in the city. ADM took information about the whole incident from SDM Vinod Kumar. CO BL Shah, Kotwal Sanjay Kumar took a meeting of Hindu organizations at Dakpathar. Listened to him completely. A platoon PAC has been called to maintain law and order in the area.
Anger grew due to this incident
On Wednesday, two sisters were going back home after taking goods from the market at eight o’clock in the night. Meanwhile, a boy started following and started making noises. Due to which both the sisters got scared and changed the route and started going through Telpur route, then five-six youths came in front. Stopped the way and asked to sit on the bike, when they refused, they forced.
The youth started pulling both the sisters by holding hands and started abusing them using caste-indicative words. After which there was a fight between the two sides. During this, one side of the special class also raised objectionable slogans near the outpost, which further heated up the atmosphere
