Bageshwar. A house has collapsed in Dhikura village due to heavy rains. People have narrowly escaped in the incident. A cow dynasty has been injured. Patwari inspected the spot and handed over the report to Tehsildar.
According to the information, there is a house of Sunil Kumar’s son Khadak Ram in Dhikura village of Gagrigol area of Garud tehsil, which collapsed due to heavy rains. Due to the incident in the morning, the family husband-wife and two children narrowly escaped. While his cow is injured. The victim told that there was no one inside the house at the time of the incident. Ration, bedding, clothes, utensils etc. kept inside the house have been buried under the debris. He has demanded immediate compensation.
Director of the Meteorological Center Bikram Singh said that there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall at some places in the Kumaon division in the coming two days. A warning was issued for this. Orange alert has been issued in the entire Kumaon division for two days. There is a possibility of rain and lightning in Dehradun, Tehri and Pauri districts. In view of this, Yellow Alert has been issued. The period of heavy rains is likely to continue in the state till July 5
