Parents warned of violent agitation if the teacher is not called back to his original school.
Pithoragarh. When the headmaster of Berinag Kaneda Primary School was sent to another school, angry parents and children started Satyagraha.
Parents have deposited the bags of all their children in the school itself.
They have said that if the teacher is not brought back to the original school soon, they will launch an aggressive protest. After getting information about the order of sending a teacher in the primary school of Kaneda of the development block to another school as per the arrangement of the Education Department, the children and parents studying there got angry. Parents are doing Satyagraha by depositing their children’s school bags in the school itself. All the 12 students studying in the school are angry with this kind of arrangement.
The parents have started this Satyagraha accusing the departmental officials of not worrying about their future. Said that if the teacher is not posted in the parent school then he will sit on a fast outside the Block Education Officer’s office. Those protesting include District Panchayat members Neema Devi, Bhupendra Dhami, Gopal Singh, Govind Singh, Jagdish Bisht, Man Singh, Bhupal Singh, Chandra Ram.
