Haldwani. In Almora’s Hawalbagh, an innocent girl died due to drowning in a water tank. On the other hand, in Puranakhatta of Lalkuan Bindukhatta, a woman died due to electrocution. There is chaos in both the families.
In the Almora incident, a three-year-old girl fell into a nearby tank while playing in the courtyard.
The relatives came to know about the incident after a long time. The girl was hurriedly taken to the hospital, where she died during treatment. Aarohi, the three-year-old daughter of Gram Sabha Pahal resident Harish Singh Kanwal, was playing near the tank built in the courtyard of the house at around eight o’clock on Wednesday morning. The relatives were working nearby. Meanwhile, while playing, the girl suddenly fell into the tank. But the relatives could not find out about the drowning of the girl child. After a long time, when the girl was nowhere to be seen, the family members searched for her around the house. Meanwhile, when the family members looked towards the water tank built at the back side of the house, they found the innocent drowned in it.
At the same time, Maya Khatri (55), wife of Laxman Singh Khatri, a resident of Puranakhatta of Bindukhatta, had gone out to buy a fan amid the rain. She got electrocuted as soon as she grabbed the fan. In no time, she fell on the ground. During this, nephew Kannu’s eyes fell on him. On making noise, the people around reached the spot. The information about the incident was given to Laxman Singh Khatri. Neighbors reached the spot after hearing the screams. He was immediately taken to the nearest hospital.
