Haridwar. On the occasion of Holi, liquor worth 7 crores was consumed in Haridwar. According to District Excise Officer Prabha Shankar Mishra, English liquor worth Rs 4 crore 50 lakh and country liquor worth Rs 2.5 crore has been sold. There is a sale on 6th and 7th March. Liquor has been sold twice as compared to normal days. Haridwar district has 130 contracts.
