Haridwar. ADJ/FTSC judge Kumari Kusum Shani has found the accused youth guilty of raping the minor and raping her.
The ftsc court sentenced the accused to 20 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 83,000. The court also ordered the accused to undergo additional six months imprisonment if he fails to pay the fine.
Government advocate Bhupendra Kumar Chauhan said that on October 26, 2019, a minor girl went missing from the village of Khanpur area. The 14-year-old victim was not found at home by her family members who returned from work at 5 pm. Even after a lot of searching by the family, the victim was not found. The complainant’s family had lodged a missing complaint against an unidentified person at Khanpur police station 15 days after the incident. Meanwhile, when the location of the mobile was traced, the local police arrested the accused Ajay along with the victim girl from Kotwali Fatehabad Haryana. The victim had told that the accused youth lured her and took her to Fatehabad, Haryana. There, the accused married her and had physical relations with her. Due to which she became pregnant. Seven witnesses were presented in the case.
