Mobile phone found in dismantled condition, power point also completely burnt
New Delhi. A 60-year-old man died when a mobile phone exploded while charging in a room on Runija Road in Badnagar Tehsil of Ujjain. The explosion was so strong that the old man’s body was blown away.
Dayaram Barod (60) lived alone in a room built on a farm on Runija Road in Badnagar tehsil. There was a blast in his mobile on Monday. Badnagar police station in-charge Manish Mishra said that the police had received information that the dead body of a person was lying in the house, after reaching the spot and investigating the matter, it was found that a person named Dayaram died due to a mobile explosion during charging. The part of the deceased from neck to chest and one hand were found completely damaged. Prima facie investigation revealed that there was an explosion. When inspected the spot, the mobile phone was found in dismantled condition. The power point was also completely burnt. No other explosive or inflammable material was also found on the spot.
