Notification issued, supplementary budget to be presented on first day of session
Dehradun. The monsoon session of the Assembly will start from September 5. After getting the green signal from Raj Bhavan, the Assembly Secretariat issued its notification on Wednesday. The supplementary budget will be presented on the first day of the session.
MLAs have so far posed 614 questions for the session. In the recent cabinet meeting, the proposal to organize the monsoon session of the Assembly from September 5 to 8 was approved. The Assembly Secretariat then sent the proposal to Raj Bhavan. After getting the approval from there, the Assembly Secretariat, along with issuing the notification of the session, has also proposed the date-wise final program of the session.
The session will start on September 5 and on this day legislative work will be done along with laying of ordinances on the table of the House. Supplementary budget will also be presented by the government on the same day. There will be a grant-wise discussion on the supplementary budget on September 6. There will be a holiday for Janmashtami on 7th September. The bill related to supplementary budget will be passed on September 8.
