AE-JE recruitment exam question paper leak case, SIT makes fourth arrest
Haridwar. The SIT has arrested the coaching center operator of Roorkee in the AE-JE recruitment exam question paper leak scandal. The accused had sold the question paper to some candidates for Rs 19 lakh.
SSP Ajay Singh told that Roorkee’s Genius Coaching Center director Vivek Kumar alias Vicky resident of village Chudiyala Bhagwanpur along with other accused had sold question paper to some candidates for Rs 19 lakh per candidate. Some amount was given by the candidates in advance, the rest were given by blank cheques. Two lakh rupees, some blank checks and an LED have been recovered from the possession of the accused. An amount of seven lakhs, blank checks have been recovered from the possession of the accused arrested earlier. He told that apart from Haridwar, some coaching centers of Dehradun are also on the radar, information about which is being collected. Such information has come out in the statements of some students.
