Preparations completed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Pithoragarh on October 12, 1200 police personnel will be deployed everywhere.

Pithoragarh. 1200 police personnel will be deployed for security during the public meeting to be held at the sports stadium during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to Pithoragarh on October 12. Today i.e. on Tuesday the Chief Minister himself will arrive to take stock of the arrangements.
PM Modi’s tour program to Pithoragarh district is proposed from October 12. Regarding this visit, District Magistrate Reena Joshi said that the Prime Minister will reach Jeolikang and city Pithoragarh of the district. The Prime Minister will address a public meeting in Pithoragarh, he said that all preparations are in full swing in Jeolikang and city Pithoragarh for the arrival of the Prime Minister. Work on installation of pandals, tents and barricading etc. is also going on at the public meeting place in Pithoragarh. Beautification of Jeolikang and city Pithoragarh is being done. Concrete arrangements are being made by the police administration to strengthen the security and traffic system. All departments are busy preparing for the arrival of the Prime Minister.
Movement of vehicles will be restricted on the designated road routes at the time of arrival of VVIPs for PM Modi’s visit. The police is verifying the tenants and outsiders in the houses in and around the event venue. Vehicles coming from outside areas will be parked in GIC. Vehicles coming from outside districts will go to GIC via Siltham, Ghantakaran, Municipality, Uptake Tiraha. Local vehicles will be parked at Dev Singh Ground. From here people will go to the venue on foot. Vehicles will not be allowed near Gupta Tiraha and Wisdom Tiraha and the one-way system will be stopped for four hours.
Lokeshwar Singh, Superintendent of Police, said that strict action will be taken against those who breach the security of VVIPs or oppose their movement. Police forces will be deployed in every nook and corner and through social media, the unruly elements who are affecting peace and law and order will be targeted. being monitored
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will reach here on Tuesday. He will come to Naini Saini airstrip from Dehradun at 11.45 am by state plane. After this he will see the preparations made for welcoming PM Narendra Modi and the public meeting. Before this, the CM will also review the preparations made so far by holding a meeting with the officials. They will leave for Dehradun from here at 3 pm in the day. In view of the Chief Minister’s district tour program, officials here have started preparations.
