Cabinet approves amendment in Clinical Establishment Act for this
Dehradun. Registration fee for hospitals up to 50 beds in Uttarakhand will be completely waived. The cabinet has approved the amendment in the Clinical Establishment Act for this.
Secretary Health Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar said that the act made in 2015 has been amended. Under this, registration fee has been waived to encourage small hospitals in the state. The registration fee for hospitals with 50 beds or less will be completely waived. This will increase the number of hospitals in the state. Revenue of 6.35 crore was generated from the registration in five years. Got revenue of 1.27 crores every year.
Secretary Health informed that big relief has also been given to big hospitals with more than 50 beds. The cabinet has approved a rebate of up to 90 percent in the old rates of registration fee. After this amendment, the state’s revenue under this head will be reduced by 90 percent. Only 12.60 lakh per year will be available every year. So far, the Indian Medical Association was protesting the most regarding the 2015 registration rate of the Act
