Satpal Maharaj lists achievements of government in one year

“One year new preced” programme held at Rishikul to mark completion of one year of state government

Haridwar. Public Works, Tourism, Irrigation, Minor Irrigation, Panchayati Raj Minister Satpal Maharaj inaugurated the program organized under the theme of ‘One Year New Preced’ program on the occasion of completion of one year of the state government in the auditorium of Rishikul Ayurveda College on Thursday. A book published by the Department of Information and Public Relations – “Ek Saal Nayi Misaal” was also released, in which detailed information about the unprecedented and historic decisions taken by the government in every field were given. Referring to the one year tenure of the government, Cabinet Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj said that during this period, Haridwar has come first in the field of Jal Jeevan Mission in the month of February, four crore devotees arrived in Kanwar Mela, 47 lakh devotees arrived on Chardham Yatra, which was conducted efficiently. Panchayat elections were held safely, record collection of revenue was done, plans are being prepared to develop Harkipadi corridor on the lines of Kashi-Vishwanath, online system of registration for Chardham Yatra of the year 2023 is going on, three programs of G-20 will be held in Uttarakhand, which is a matter of pride for us.
Referring to tourism, Shri Satpal Maharaj said that Shakta Circuit, Bhagwati Circuit, Golju Circuit, Nagaraj Circuit, Hanuman Circuit, Vivekanand Circuit etc. have been constructed in the state. Apart from this, adventure tourism- river rafting, paragliding etc. is also being promoted by our government, work is being done in the field of developing Tehri as an international destination, which has increased our tourism.
Referring to connectivity, the Minister said that Rishikesh-Karnprayag rail project is going to be completed soon, ropeways are being built at different places, work is being done to set up an international airport in Haridwar, due to which people from other countries from religious and yoga point of view will reach Haridwar directly and thousands of people will get employment from it. Former Education Minister, Government of India, former Chief Minister Uttarakhand, Haridwar MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank congratulated and congratulated Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami for doing unprecedented and historic work in one year tenure. Referring to the scheme to make every sister lakhpati, he said that under the Lakhpati Didi Scheme, an initiative has been taken to make 125 lakh women of the state lakhpati by the year 2025. He said that at the time of Kanwar, four crore people come to Haridwar, so if a devotee takes one thousand rupees made here, then our sisters can get four thousand crore rupees from prasad etc. Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank said that the government has broken the back of the imitation mafia by enacting a strict cheating law, to protect the interests of the mother power of the state, has made arrangements for 30 percent horizontal reservation for women in state government jobs, has decided to provide 10 percent horizontal reservation to state agitators. Concrete steps have been taken on forced conversions, the sports stadium in Roshanabad will be completed soon, the work of establishing a medical college in Jagjitpur is in progress, industries are being promoted. Apart from this, local products and coarse grains are being promoted to increase the economy of the people.
Haridwar MLA Shri Madan Kaushik and Roorkee MLA Shri Pradeep Batra while addressing the program congratulated and congratulated the Chief Minister and said that under his leadership the state has established new dimensions in every region.
On reaching Rishikul complex, Cabinet Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj, Haridwar MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Haridwar MLA Shri Madan Kaushik, Roorkee MLA Shri Pradeep Batra, former MLA Jhabreda Shri Deshraj Karnwal etc. were given a grand welcome and greetings by presenting flower bouquets. On this occasion, various cultural programmes were presented by the students.
Cabinet Minister Shri Satpal Maharaj inaugurated health camps and blood donation camps organized by various departments – Women Empowerment and Child Development Department, Fisheries Department, Agriculture Department, Social Welfare Department, Industries, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, National Livelihood Mission etc. along with stalls like Allopathic, Ayurveda, AYUSH Department, Homeopathy Department in Rishikul premises by cutting ribbon. He took detailed information about the products installed by various departments in the stalls. In the function, beneficiaries of agriculture, cooperatives, industry, Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana etc. were also rewarded for their excellent work in their respective fields. On this occasion, students presented various cultural programmes on the occasion.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed the entire state through live broadcast simultaneously and gave detailed information about the public welfare works and schemes done by the government within a year.
District Magistrate Vinay Shankar Pandey thanked everyone for attending the program organized on the theme of public service under the “One Year New Precedent” program and the program was successfully conducted by Red Cross Secretary Dr. Naresh Chaudhary.
