Police arrested hotel manager involved in prostitution
Rishikesh. Police raided Bisht Restaurant and Hotel in Raiwala Bazaar on Haridwar Road on Wednesday night and freed three girls from prostitution. Hotel manager involved in prostitution arrested.
According to Raiwala in-charge Inspector Hoshiar Singh Pankholi, information was received from the informer that suspicious activities were going on in Bisht Hotel in Raiwala. After which the hotel was raided. During this time, the manager along with three girls was found in the hotel.
During police interrogation, it came to light that the girls were brought for prostitution. Some objectionable materials were also recovered in the raid. Objectionable pictures of many girls and many suspicious numbers were found from the hotel manager’s mobile.
Hotel manager Anand Singh, resident of village Udaipur, police station Tharali, district Chamoli, was arrested for prostitution. All three girls who were rescued are from Haripurkalan Motichur area. A case has been registered against the accused hotel manager under the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act. The inspector in-charge used to send these girls to big hotels in the nearby areas.
