To hide the identity of the woman, the head is crushed and there are knife marks in the stomach. The police have taken both the bodies in possession and sent them to postmortem.
The postmortem will be held at the district headquarters. According to media reports, on Monday afternoon, the villagers saw a dead body in the Haigad donkey of Pinglon. The villagers immediately informed the Baijnath police. As soon as the information was received, Kailash Singh Bisht, the station head of Baijnath reached the spot along with the team and took the dead body into custody. According to the villagers, the woman has marks of stabbing in her stomach and crushing of her face with stones. A few hours after the body of the unknown woman was found, the villagers also saw the body of a girl child and informed the police.
Station Head Bisht has told that the body of a girl child was also recovered two-three fields above the place where the body of the unknown woman was found. The police station chief told that both the unidentified dead bodies could be of the mother and daughter as well. The correct information will be known only after investigation. Both the bodies are being identified. Police has started investigation. Police also recovered a knife from the spot. The police have now started investigating swiftly.
