Students from class 6th to 12th in government schools will get scholarship up to 3000

Dehradun. Scholarships ranging from 600 to 3000 will be given to students every month from class 6th to 12th in government schools of Uttarakhand. The education department has made a proposal and sent it to the government.
In this scheme, which will be started on the instructions of Chief Minister Dhami, the selection process for scholarship of students will be of two types. For this scholarship given to meritorious students, the students of class X and class XII will be selected from the merit list of their board examination. While students from class 6 to 8 will be selected on the basis of examination. Apart from this, 10th class student will get 2000 and 12th student will get 3000 scholarship. Students will get 800 scholarships every month till class VIII, which will be selected on the basis of examination. It is being told that the government will make a provision of Rs 100 crore in the budget for this new scheme
