A case has been registered at Kankhal police station after the driver’s suspension.
Haridwar. On the instructions of the DM in Bairagi Camp area, the SDM raided and recovered a stock of medicines buried in the pit. While the driver of the municipal corporation has been suspended.
On February 6, on the instructions of DM Vinay Shankar Pandey, a large quantity of government supplied medicines were found from the pit from Bairagi Camp. SDM Puran Singh Rana reached the spot and dug the pit with JCB. Medicines were removed from there. The SDM said that all the medicines buried in the pit are government-run. Some of these medicines are of expiry date and some have not expired.
After investigating the matter, the Health Department has filed a case against Dr Hemant Arya and ward boy Ajay Kumar of Bahadrabad Community Center. A case has been registered at Kankhal police station. Jcb driver Ravi, a municipal employee, has already been suspended in connection with the case. Dr. Hemant Arya has earlier been posted in the Municipal Corporation. On his call, driver Ravi reached Bairagi Camp with JCB.
