Case of Ganganahar area of Haridwar district, police interrogated school management and family members
Haridwar. A student died under suspicious circumstances. His body was found hanging with the help of a dupatta. Police have sent the body for post-mortem. Police are trying to find out the reasons for suicide. For this, information is being collected from the school management and family members.
Civil Lines Kotwali in-charge RK Saklani said that at around 3 pm on Thursday, Ganganahar Kotwali police informed that the body of a student had arrived at the Civil Hospital. He has committed suicide by hanging himself. On this, female inspector Karuna Ronkali reached the civil hospital, conducted the Panchnama of the student and sent the body for post-mortem. Kotwali in-charge told that the girl was a student of class 11. The student’s brother also studied with her. Investigation revealed that the girl was called by the school along with her parents after 2 pm. The girl’s father called her to go to school but she did not respond. When the father went inside, he saw that the girl had hanged herself by tying herself with a scarf from the skylight of the house. The reasons for the student’s suicide have not been known. Information is being collected in the matter from the school management and the family of the student.
