Haldwani. A western disturbance is expected to make landfall in Uttarakhand by Sunday evening. Due to which the weather in the mountainous areas can change. Light rain is expected at some places. The plains are likely to be partly cloudy with sunshine. In most areas of the state, the temperature is increasing due to bright sunshine. According to Meteorological Center Director Bikram Singh, the western disturbance may be active in Uttarakhand by Sunday evening. Due to which there is a possibility of rain in the mountainous areas.
The weather may change in the next few days.
In most of the plains including Dehradun, the mercury remained above 30 degrees Celsius. There has also been an increase in maximum temperature in the mountainous areas. It is still mild cold in some areas in the morning, but humidity is being felt at night. However, the weather may change over the next few days.
Partial clouds may remain in the plains
Thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar on Monday. Partly cloudy sky is likely to prevail in the plains. There is a possibility of drizzle in some places.
