Haldwani. On Sunday evening, near Rampur Road Katha Factory, a young man sitting on his father’s cart was brutally stabbed to death with a sharp weapon. The murderers escaped taking advantage of the darkness.
After the sensational incident, the police has started searching for the murderers.
According to the police, Amit Kashyap (38), son Sumer Kashyap, lived with wife Rakhi, eight-year-old son Chirag, three-year-old daughter, father Sumer Kashyap and brother Sanjay near the Katha factory on Rampur Road. Father sets up a food stall outside the catechu factory. Whereas Amit used to work in the depot of a paint company located at Panchayat Ghar. Father Sumer had gone for some work on Sunday evening. The electricity suddenly went off at around 6 pm. Amit sent his son home to bring CFL. Meanwhile, some unknown people attacked Amit with a sharp weapon on his head, face and neck and left him bleeding. The family and surrounding people took Amit to STH, where he died during treatment.
