To encourage e-vehicles in the state, the government made major changes in building construction standards.
Along with parking in non-residential buildings, now e-vehicle charging stations will also have to be built.
Group housing, plotted, hotels, motels, multiplexes, guest houses, lodges and other non-residential buildings built on a plot of more than 1500 square meters will come under the ambit of this decision.
E-charging station is necessary for two wheeler and four wheeler vehicles with parking in non-residential buildings.
